Description

A real character! Depending on the clan, it can last from 40 days up to 5 years to make a dragonfly larva ready to become a fully developed insect. This dargonfly larva came out of the Rhine. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us This is my insect observing front seat on the bank of the beautiful Rhein river in Switzerland.

Great find and shot. I manage to get some shots of adult Dragonflies but I have never seen an immature one. Congratulations. Thanks for sharing. Lee
