Description

Just introduced myself to an excellent digital camera...a Nikon S52, 9 mega-pixel. Yes, I was still using the older 35mm SLR's, previously. Since this is one of my first captures, I thought I would share it with you. Why did I call it my beautiful terrorist you ask? Well, it is a Trumpet Vine (Campsis radicans) which is trained over the gated archway arbor at the front entrance to my yard. After only acquiring the plants 6 years ago, it is spreading throughout my front yard, poking thru, all over the lawn. Found out recently that it runs underground much like running bamboo does. Oh well, the mower will take care of that problem, I suppose....lol This year it is filled with hundreds of blooms and really, I'm thrilled at the colorful display it creates. I realize I could have centered the cluster of blooms a bit better. Enjoy and thanks for viewing and commenting. Only PW was the signature with Paint.Net

Beautiful splash of color, I'd like to see a more distant shot of them to see just how they have spread.....a beautiful shot.
