Description

Thank you for all those who commented on my first photo in the series. I was very lucky to get these lightning shots. There was so much lightning so often that I just set an exposure time of 8 seconds and kept taking photos in the direction of the most activity. It was almost a guarantee that you would get some lightning in the photo. Also, it was not raining where I was taking the photos, but the lightning was both in front of me and behind me. I have never seen weather like it since. It was quite the show! The photos were taken in August of 2006 overlooking the Tooele Valley in Utah. The photos were shot with an old Nikon E995 digital camera (3.3 mega pixles). I have had to clean up some digital artifacts in the photos, but other than that they are untouched. I hope you all enjoy this series. I have not been out to take any new photos lately and I have many of these lightning shots to post. Hopefully I will be able to get out and take some more photos soon. I also am sorry that I cannot comment much on all of your beautiful galleries lately. My life and health have been a bit more challenging and I am not able to visit Rendo for as long or as often to leave comments. Hopefully that will change soon for the better. You are all so great, and I wish you all the best! -Breyden-
