Description

I am still learning how to do ocean scenes and breakers. I would love any critiques on this painting. It was done in oil on 12" X 16" stretched canvas.

Thanks, everyone. tetsu-pino, no, I just started painting in oils about two weeks ago so right now I am just studying about how to do waves and oceans. I did wildlife and people portraits for years and years, but not scenery. I used to use colored pencil and pen and ink but you can't do much with oceans with those mediums so I went to oils. So...I am still learning. I ordered a DVD on how to paint wild oceans so I look forward to that. I appreciate all of your comments, alz2008, robyhermida, tetsu-mino, and ekatz. You guys encourage me.
