Description

Catch a falling star anâ?? put it in your pocket, Never let it fade away! Catch a falling star anâ?? put it in your pocket, Save it for a rainy day! For love may come an' tap you on the shoulder, Some star-less night! Just in case you feel you wannaâ?? hold him, Youâ??ll have a pocketful of starlight! Music and Lyrics by Lee Pockriss and Paul Vance; sung by Perry Como (I changed 'her' to 'him' since the main character in this picture is a lonely lass far away from home.) ------------------------------------------ This picture became a study in lighting and character creation. I tried all different sorts of character mats and poses and then I struggled with the lighting. Just couldn't seem to get what I wanted. Finally, I got a render that seemed to work. (Adding the green to one of main lights gave it a nice touch. It took forever to render because the original picture had her reflection in the window. (My fault - I increased the reflection and transparency in the materials room. Thought it would be a good idea.) But her reflection seemed to detract from what was outside so I removed this. I used Poser 6 and Photoshop CS3 to create this. Hope you like it. :) P.S. Be sure to zoom to get the full effect. Thanks for all the great comments and favs on my mermaid picture. Very appreciated especially after all the work that went into it (i.e. the Photoshop crash and redo).
