I'm old, married to Linda ( http://lindamccarthy.redbubble.com/ ) for what she thinks are 20 long years.  Two step-children, four grandchildren and a great dog pal, our Dirk.
I am an accountant now with an eclectic job history. Have loved photography for years and am just now getting back into it after a 20 year hiatus. Lost most of my prior work and gear in an arson fire. So. I guess you could say I'm starting over with my preferred personal therapy.
It's nice to have a place where I can look at the work of others for ideas and challenges, as well as a format to display my own work.

LOL! Gives a whole new meaning to 'getting nailed'! (but why big nails, just for garage sale flyers? They selling whole garages down your way?)

Interesting to see all the helpless nails, nothing to hold anymore. Fine capture.

It is not easy to write a smart comment on this, because one can see what it is all about. Good you took a picture though, for those many generations to come.

So this is what "paying on the nail" is all about! I had wondered about its origins and thought maybe from Roman times in Great Britain. It's a good and unusual shot John.
