Hello! I took this shot a while ago and now it is about time to post it :) Sometimes also flowers have siamese twins :) I havent done any manipulation. the lack of manipulation on this flower shows how keen your eye is. The petals radiate. Yet the luminosity of the stamens—here, "twin" stamens—is the star: It's a burst to the eye, everything glowing and the yellow a perfect "outline" to the purple. (It almost looks like a dessert.) I suppose one could say, after years of photographing flowers, "there isn't much left to see". But your gallery disproves that again and again. I couldn't leave town without commenting on this. A stunning flower & a stunning capture. Again, many thanks, helle.
