Description

This is a 2nd post, albeit, a different view. The models were created in Cinema 4D Art, and rendered in Lightwave. I really enjoy both programs, but evidently need to continue to learn both.

Hey there, I saw this in the C4D gallery, I like it. I was just wondering, do you find lightwave harder to learn than c4d? I have it and havn't been able to figure it out. YIKES!

I found C4D much easier to get into. I started with a promotional copy of C4D GO. Lightwave is strikingly similar in use, but the interface is "harder" considering the comparison. Although now I feel I'm becoming much more adept at LW. I think you will like both.

Quick question -- did you texture in LW? If so, did you use a procedural for the egg texture?

I applied the color in the appropriate channel -- then used an image map for bump in that channel. I don't remember the actual setting but I'll guess that it was about 120% bump.
