Hi to everyone who reads this
I'm Helen, 39yrs young and wondering what the big 40 will bring. I'm married to my wonderful Scotsman Michael, we have 2 children, Clara & Mikey Jnr who at the moment are my only willing subjects for photographing (although Clara tends not to smile grrrr). We live in a small village in the Northwest of England but may move to Scotland in the near future. I have only just really started to take an interest in photography and have a little old finepix digital as I can't cope with too many buttons and don't really understand about lighting etc. Hopefully Hubby will give me a bit of tuition and he has a couple of fancy all singing and dancing cameras which I might eventually get my hands on hehe I can almost hear the echo of  NO WAY being shouted in the background heheÂ
Anyway if you have managed to read this before falling asleep "thank you" and I look forward to making some new pals and getting a few hints and tips.
To all of you who hae given me encouragement with your kind comments a big THANK YOU, it really boosted my confidence xxx

Yes seems almost intact these places are both wonderful to view and yet at the same time I wonder why they have not been restored to former glory

And proud it stands; rightfully so! A most lovely structure, which evidently is maintained on the most delightful and strikingly beautiful property! I like the overcast mood and atmosphere, it contributes to the overall subject and architecture. Thank you for sharing this lovely structure with us!
