Other people's recent uploads made me think I should attempt an image with a bit more action. Ships modeled in TrueSpace. Textures with PaintShopPro.

Oh VERY nice! The diagonals of the ships and the horizon lend a sense of movement. but the foreground ship in particular still has a sense of massive weight and sluggish maneuverability. Its a subtle, non-saturated palette which gives a good feel of atmospheric perspective. Great scene overall!

Top work - excellent detail - you can almost feel the pilot sweating to control the ship. Um 'Icarus'? Not sure that's the best name fpor a space ship - did.nt the original Icarus crash after flying to close to the sun?

I really like the style/shape/textures of your spaceships ! The first time i came in contact with spaceships looking this way was in the 80's, where i've collected SciFi posters - like TheBryster already mentioned - it reminds me totally to the work of the artist Chris Foss painting his spaceships using acrylic paint - superbly done !
