I am a psychologist who attempts to foster creativity in clients. I have studied the creative process and make use of it in therapy. I plunge in myself when I can steal the time. I have taken pictures for over 40 years, and blend photos with digital creations. I have had virtually no formal art/photography training, so it is somewhat like brain surgery self-taught. The aim is for a creative life, one of continuous progress. I still have my manuels for Poser 2, Bryce 2 and Painter 3D. Each day ,before my work-world starts, I check out at least one new image and sometimes follow it back from there to a site, links etc.... I am impressed by the quality of work in The Art Community and hope to make a contribution. Thank you for visiting.

I fight many "garden enemy" with garlic - prepare some lotion: water and crushed garlic it helps to keep them away.

A curious or proud snail you have. Excellent capture. I have no solution as they are not troublesome here where I live.

Might try a can of beer. It works for slugs. Pour the beer into a container. Cut the can in half. Bury the half that can hold liquid up to the lip and fill it 3/4 of the way with beer. Slugs at least are attracted to the yeast and are either killed by the alcohol or drowning or both. Seeing how well your photos of this one have come out, I am almost wishing the remedy does not work. Almost. hehe Very lovely photos. :)

I'm thinking the caffine might make them munch quicker! plus they might not sleep as much. Intriguing capture, the DOF rocks!!

A nice capture. I like snails and slugs, and will pick them up and let then crawl in my hand. I know - creepy for an adult woman.Of course I live upstairs and none have seen fit to travel up to my plants. :)
