Description

One of the most endearing things about Hwy 46 coming into the heart of Paso Robles wine country, for the last 20 some odd years, has been this area. A lovely little (okay, not so little) grove of trees nestled between two hills of a nearby winery's vines. The vines are relatively new, but the heart has been in the hill as long as I can remember. The Heart of the Hills. Unfortunately I don't have a lot to say about this image tonight. As we were headed out we made a special stop so I could take some shots of this locale and, other than the heavy equipment in the foreground (and contractors trailer to the right) I couldn't have asked for a better shot. The weather in San Simeon this weekend was gorgeous, nice and cool (almost, dare I even SAY this...? COLD at night!) and I managed to get some fantastic sunset images, seagulls and even some windsurfers which I will be editing and uploading later....oh, and a few FANTABULOUS shots of Her Royal Fuzzyness, Starling...but I save those for later. For now...Have a Heart....on me! Photo (c) Twilight Productions

Paso Robles brings back some memories.I was hitchhiking from Las Gatos back to Oklahoma and ended up in Paso Robles at 12 midnight.I stood on the side of the highway for 6 hours until I got a ride to Barstow.still made the trip in 56 hours after waking 15 miles in Oklahoma outstanding design and imaginative farmers.your capture is superb
