Description

Henny31, one of the few who from time to time shares her wonderful FFF images. But also her other work I appreciate so very much. With Flight From Fractals I always have a hate/love relation. Hate because of the many imperfections and bugs in the sofware, and the lack of information. Love because of the character of the images, which hardly can be reached with other software. I did some efforts to get the same fff effects in UF, but didn't really succeed. Now I follow another route, thanks to the new possibilities of UF5. First making a Flight From Fractal jpg and bringing it into UF5, where I can apply one or more textures. I'm still at the very beginning of exploring these possibilities. My first one is here, dedicated to Henny. Thanks for your views, comments and favs on my uploads of last week.

Heel mooi, Ed.

I hear you on FFF.. but you can get some very unique and lovely images out of it if you are prepared to suffer... This is one such example...I too am in love with Texture and Light and agree that this is one major boost with UF 5.... The possibility to apply UF texturing to Fractal images.... One of Photoshop's main weaknesses I think is in it's limitations to Perlin noise as the only direct noise algorhythm... Granted you can use any number of patterns as a texture overlay but not in the same way as you would use a direct colouring Nicely Conjured Ed!!!

How could I have missed this, it is gorgeous and what fun to be able to take it into UF to do post work.. Thanks Ed for dedicating this to me.. if it was not for you, I would not have had the program.. and I continue to feel challenged by it.

Very gorgeous! I gave FFF a try and found it so difficult, but still loved the presence of the depth, really like no other. A unique yet formidable program indeed.
