Description

I wanted to make something I never did before... a car. I learned the hard way that making a car is not as easy as I thought, especially an original design, but I kept trying until it looked half decent, and I know there is still plenty of room for improvement. I modeled it in XSI and rendered it in Bryce. My goal was not to make a flashy, trendy car, but one that's functional and practical. The Nimos Ektron M1 has the following features: 1: Four electric motors can propel the car 0 to 60 mph in under 6 seconds if needed. 2: It gives you 60 miles per dollar under normal driving, and a range of 250 miles on full charge. 3: Power is supplied by battery packs in the front, and under the trunk. 4: Batteries can be quick-charged via power cord, but also continuously slow-charge via the solar cell array integrated into the roof. If you become stranded with no power, simply leave the car in a sunny spot for a few hours and you are good for at least another 30 miles. 5: Batteries can be upgraded to newer ones as they become available. 6: The two-seat version has enough trunk space to sleep two adults. The 4-seat 4-door version is also available. 7: Pollution and CO2 emissions are zero. 8: It's four-wheel drive, naturally!

I'll take one...great model. Have you seen the Tesla out of California...all electric as well and sexy to boot. Has similar specs but in the real world, heh heh heh. Still that is a fine model...well done.. ... http://www.teslamotors.com/

Your sense of aerodynamics would make this an incredible and fuel efficient vehicle to drive and a pleasure to own. Very well done model.

No bad starter, very elegant (you should offer that to Citroen once it's more evolved ;-); only the wheelbase is so wide it will cause a sag ...
