Description

I see the orange-yellow variety growing wild and in many other gardens, but I haven't seen many of these red-orange ones outside my own garden. They come out a few weeks later than the more common ones but are well worth waiting for. Best zoomed.

Yes, this variety is stunning. All I have growing around here are the regular orange ones...all over the sides of the roadways. And they are all but finished blooming, now. I think perhaps they were put there in the days of the old WPA projects. You have captured this one's beauty wonderfully.

Beautiful the normal Orange or Fire Lily is native to Europe and was not well received as a gift as it was supposed to herald death!! This Variety is far more appealing in that regard!

A most lovely closeup and your focus and clarity is superb! A wonderful perspective, as well, with the petals curled under in such a lovely way!
