Description
Two little kittens got separated from their mother while playing. They hid in a shady nook, hoping for their mother to return. Simba fell asleep dreaming of the times he snuggled up to his Mummy and she kept him warm and safe, whispering soft comforting purrs in his ear. His sister Katy kept an eye open for her beloved Mummy. She saw a frog, and asked him if he had seen her Mummy. He ignored her and concentrated his stare on the fat juicy snail. Katy was scared, but deep in her heart knew her Mummy would find her and Simba. She was right in the knowledge that the bond of a mother and her babies is the strongest. Soon their mother rescued them taking them back to the safety of their home.
These kittens are 5 weeks old, Simba and his brother Freddy will share mine and my daughter's life in late August. Look out for photos later:o)
Now I must leave you all for a couple of months, while my home has some extensive refurbishment. My computer will be packed away from the dust, and I, along with my 4 pets, will spend the summer with my dear mother who has recently been diagnosed with dementia. The following months will be special to me as I will spend every moment sharing some precious time with her. I love my mother dearly, and will never forget the times she kept me safe when I was small, now I will do the same for her.
