Description

I missed that the last one was my 300th because I wasn't fucking paying attention. I probably wouldn't have noticed it until days later if durleybeachbum hadn't congratulated me. Thanks, man. Maybe this'll start a tradition of me celebrating every new _01 instead of _00. Might as well, I'll probably miss the next one anyway. These are two shots of the same lovely frog, chilling in the giant road puddle next to the pond. The light was so good I barely had to do anything to this -- it's been awhile since I did the postwork but I don't think I tinkered at all besides shrinking, cropping and a soft light layer. The reason there are two shots here instead of me just choosing one is that there's no way you could get both the detail of the frog and the compositional elements of the background without having the image turn out fucking huge. It's not a "clever" dyptich like "the frog emerges" (I've since realized that I should've paired the unfocused shot there with "majestic green" instead of the rightmost one I actually used, shit) but it gets the point across. Have a nice day. Light some farts, it's fun.

He looks as if he's skidding down an Irish water-skiing lake. ( don't worry if you don't understand that joke.)
