Description
Reminds me of my endless days hunting marine fossils back in Missouri. I'd spend whole nights glued to a magnifying glass picking away the matrix of a stone to reveal a delicate fossil.
I wanted to take credit for all the work creating this cool fractal. I was sure it was one I had added a million transforms to, and tweaked endlessly. I went back to look at the parameters to see if I could figure out the script I had started with, and darned if it wasn't a bare-naked eTech Juliascope from cabintom. I can only take credit for the color and the cropping, but it sure is a neat image. Thanks Thomas.

Awesome creation!! Cabintom's scripts are fantastic - but he didn't make this "you" did with the script and your tweeks. These script writers can put together amazing and very fun tools for the fractal creators out there without a doubt!

Looks like liquified rubies. Bravo!

brilliant. you've got the distinctive qualities that remind me of the Maya "master" Ken Huff. You should really consider getting a few of these printed at high resolution, and entering them in SigGraph's art show . . . too late for this year, but next year, for sure. The "dusty" grey is such a tactile contrast with the specular red. . . a real sense of color and the "flavor" of material. Great image
