Brilliant work Arend. This puts me in mind of the estuary of our River Wyre, when the tide is going out and exposing little runnels of water between the sand banks...I fully expect to see the Heron at work with his long poking beak, bringing up goodies for his lunch:-)

A very basic (and nice) view, indeed! Sometimes they're the best. Try to tone down the water effects and - OK, always just my opinion, but 3D clouds are very limited in their use. Not bad here, but you can achieve lots of great effects with the 2D as well.

Lovely work! The terrain and its texture is wonderful. I like the clouds, but I have to agree with Rich2 on the effect. I am kinda iffy on the water. I like it, but there is something about it that I am not sure works. Overall a wonderful basic image!
