Hello! In the spring we bought 2 clematis. One of them gave us 2 flowers. Not much, but it has been so dry here and maybe we didnt give it water enaugh.:-/ Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comments to yesterdays post.:)) Have a lovely day....or the rest of it/evening.;-) Nice warm and sunny weather all day.

Wonderful macro -- love the deep blue of the flower! I've heard that clematis needs to have its "feet" cool, so you're supposed to protect the root area with rocks or something. I never had much luck with getting them to grow, but I was trying in a very hot climate.

Clematis are one of my favourites to enjoy.maybe I should buy one, but have not yet.Your shot is so beautiful Helle! Wonderful to have a look so close in the middle of a flower. Wonderful macro!! And that litle guest is great!

YES COOL FEET WITH THEIR FACE IN THE SUN. PLUS IT TAKES A YEAR OR TWO BEFORE THEY GET ESTABLISHED. ANOTHER TIP ONE TYPE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO CUT BACK ANOTHER TYPE YOU WILL BE CUTTING OFF THE PART THAT BLOOMS NEXT YEAR. SO I HOPE YOU KNOW WHAT TYPE YOU HAVE!GOOD LOCK AND BEAUTIFUL SHOT!

another of your symphonic macros. It could almost be a painting, because it moves from those outer blues to a triumphant violet and then (boom!) yellow in the center. And you've brought out the glitter of the tiny hairs. They're like little starlights. A glistening macro, and nice that you got a couple of spiders/insects who seem to be having a good lunch with the whole thing. Beautiful Helle. You are so at-home with so many worlds of nature.
