Description

Wind chimes on my back patio ... a birthday gift from Marilyn (beachzz) a few months ago. They make a lovely sound, they play well with the light, and I'm quite enjoying them! .......... So while I was gone last week, I wasn't really gone. No posting, no commenting, but I was on every day, got to look at loads of images, and had the best time! It was a way to have a very different Renderosity experience, and I will undoubtedly be changing the way I "do" RR. I loved looking at your beautiful artwork ... and not commenting on it. There were several times when I was sorely tempted, but I just took a deep breath and drank in the art without giving my two cents worth. For a while, at least, I'm going to continue to look and enjoy and keep my mouth mostly shut. I'll be posting images, but you'll find me commenting far less than I have in the past, and only as the spirit moves me. No matter how much I like you as a person! No matter how good a friend you are! No matter how long you've been a favorite artist! * gasp! * I know ... it's sacrilege ... I might do it this way for a week, or a month, or forever! Life is an interesting experiment, and Renderosity is just like real life (imagine that!), so ... here we go! :)

I really like the POV on this one, and the shape that the hanging glass pieces make as they dangle. Nice work! And enjoy your new perspective; commenting out of duty takes away the best part of art appreciation!

What a beautiful pov!........the image is gorgeous, and your expressed sentiments are certainly understandable..........I have a guilt trip too often about finding time to comment...........so I can obviously learn a lot from more than just your wonderful images, of which this another stunner!

No comment? Blasphemy....or heresy at the very best. What has gotten into you, woman? How can you not comment? This goes beyond the pale. My dear friend, possibly possessed by some nefarious spirit. How will I know if you have looked at my stuff, especially the tons of roses I intend to post. A dark curtain, this day, has been lowered upon Renderosity. Ennyweigh, stark contrast and colors depicted in this fine macro of the wind chimes.

I always comment only as I please. I'd do more but time is short and I do have a day-job. LOL I am here to learn. I am here to show what I can do and find out if it is enough. Or if I need to do more. Can't say we'd have much of an artist's community for measuring our talent and skill if everyone did what you are doing, but I respect and understand why you feel burnt out and are changing your patterns. Just don't disappear - I'll miss you.

Funny how a little break can totally change your perspective--it's healthy, freeing, and more than a little fun--besides that, well, I just might be slightly biased, but this is a gorgeous shot of a gorgeous wind chime!!

A powerful image! I can understand your change of 'regime', you always gave very full comments and that is very time consuming. That't why I often leave extremely short ones, just to show I've seen!

I was so pleased and delighted to see that you had posted again. And what a stunner this is! Wow, that is one beautiful wind chime and you captured it perfectly. I would much rather you posted images and did less commenting than for us to lose you. That would be awful. Wooo Hoooo...Tara is back!

Excellent angle you have taken this from. It is time consuming to comment but it does encourage me when people take a look and comment, but you do need a life too. I hope we see lots more postings from you.
