Description
This photo was taken from Tirimbina Preserve in Sarapiqui. Within walking distance of this location is where I took most of the photos of the critters that I have posted in the past few days. As you can see, this place is a rugged, wet, inhospitable, but at the same time very beautiful. The mountain on the far right is a dormant volcano called Cacho Negro (Black Horn).
Hope you like this image and again many many thanks for all the wonderful comments on my photos from this Costa Rica series.

I have lived in and traveled throughout Asia and North America. I've been to Africa, Europe and Australia. I've seen some beautiful landscapes and been to wonderous places, but none captivated me the way Costa Rica did. So much of the Pacific Coast is now being developed that it's starting to look like a California retirement community. Thank God that a third of the paradise is already protected or it too would be bulldozed over. Thank you for your beautiful images and for reminding me where heaven on Earth is. Pura vida!
