Description

My current fascination is noctilucent clouds (if you've not heard of them, search google images) They have a mind of their own and every time I've seen them they have different patterns. This time of year they're often seen on clear nights about an hour after sunset (or if I'm naughty I'll see them before sunrise!) So just playing as I'm in 'sky mode' at the moment. I could probably refine them further but I like how this turned out Thanx as always 4 peekin and for the great comments on my recent sky orientated renders :)

I've been trying to do something like that for a while. I managed it in TG2 but not had much luck in Vue yet but I'll keep trying!

I had never heard of such a thing, but a quick search of the Internet brought me quite a bit of information. Until recently, living in Kansas, I was too far south to see such a thing, but according to one article, they can now be seen as far south as Colorado and Virginia. Since my state is in line with both of those states, I should be able to see that type of cloud now. I'll definitely start looking for them! By the way, I think you've done a remarkable job of recreating them here.

Aha! I might have seen them! Most recently (probably because of Vue) I've found myself looking at clouds and saying Wow! But recently I spotted some very unique clouds and couldn't for the life of me figure out what they were. They were beautiful of course and perhaps noctilucent! I'll look it up on Google as you suggest.... This is a great image, with original colour and reflections.
