Hi all,
My daughter has an assignment for her art class over the summer to create a few self portraits. We got talking about different techniques and she has decided to use photographs as a reference and work in pencils. I got the camera out and took some quick pics and I chose one to use in a quick phototshop lesson for her.
Taking the photo, creating a grid to sketch in the line art, scanning it in and then painting the different values into the piece. This is the result. Still contemplating doing a colour version too.
