I saw Don Garlits run once years and years ago...I was a kid and quite excited. I am not longer a kid but sure do appreciate this fine photo of the dragster. Nicely done photo..

Super shot! Straight carb no supercharger,probably a double disk clutch manual tranny. I also saw Don Garlits at Great Lakes Dragaway about 1974 doing a flame burnout. I have the pic somewhere. I have a 68 chevelle doing a wheelie at Great Lakes on my site.
