South Africans listen up! by busi2ness

How hectic can life become in a matter of days, but I am back! LOL Today I upload an Emu which is described as a flightless Australian bird. The pose is serving one purpose and that's for the South Africans to wake up and read here: It's time to do the annual Renderosity photography weekend. It promises to be a lot of fun, so listen up, follow the link beneath and leave your details in the forum thread. Oh, and don't give me that "gas is expensive"-look, do you think it's going to be less expensive next year?
In the forum you will also get links to the previous gathering and inevitable fun and silliness, but I swear I wasn't there, it was my twin brother...
Thank you for kind comments, etc, now follow this link please:

These birds have so much personality! I wish I could make the gathering, but since so many of us can't you all have to take TWICE as many shots to show the rest of us!

These poor dears...they have such pride and truly don't realize how absurd they look. LOL Your capture brings big grins! Wish I could be there for the weekend trip. Perhaps I will head out into our wilderness here and do a parallel event for one. We can compare stories and photos when we all get back. LOL

Let's see. Maybe Richard and I could carpool. I'd love to come Piet, but alas gas is too expensive. You have fun with the other South African RR pals and keep us posted.

Emu's are hand down the ugliest birds on the planet, and this one is no exception.. A face only a mother can love!!! You have captured him excellently though. Stunning light and clarity!!! Count Bruce and I for the weekend... I'll get onto the forum.. just give me time to get well. :))))
