Fue tanteando en las arpas del camino
Preguntándole signos del destino
Con bastón tartamudo por el ruego.
Así mi corazón, pájaro ciego
Aletazos de duda y desatino,
Fue preguntando al viento peregrino
El rumbo de los pasos del amigo.
Así mi corazón fue mendigando
Este amigo, alguien lejos, respuesta cierta
Y siempre fue encontrando, fue encontrando.
Un abrazo constante en tu puerta
No te extrañe que al fin esté riendo
Con mi tristeza para siempre muerta
