Wonderful macro. The flower and bug are very well done.

Honor the munching ladybug - she's better than using a spray for aphids and such. Nice image colors. The petals are unusual, well, to my eye. Dick

another of your bursting insect portraits surrounded by flowers. Love—the fact that the ladybug is in full "receding" mode: No visible legs. She's sleeping or reading a good book. And love the clutter of petals all around the central flower (it's really called a "Cosmos" plant? pretty arrogant plant!) And the fact that you got the l.bug on the edge, as if it's just fine where it is, thank you. Nice too that the sheen of the bug is paralleled by the sheen of some bud to the right of the Cosmos flower. You have a real eye for insects and flowers, no doubt about it. (Have they seen your drawings yet?) A nice midsummer burst-of-a-shot.
