Description

Hollyhocks have always been a favorite of mine; never had much luck with growing them from seed, so I decided to get some starter plants this year; Jane and I both decided to, together. There are so many varieties to choose from, but these are by far, my favorite! This one stands over my head; and I'm 5'4" ... but then most things do loom over me. :-) Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you may decide to leave. Hope you have a beautiful day ... I love the close crop on the flowers, makes it very intimate and they are beautiful! Excellent color and light! Your flowers have a special touch which must reveal something of your personality. A good Friday to you too!

Beautiful. My mom calls these Double Holly Hocks because of the beautiful ruffles that hide the center of the flower. Wonderful capture!
