Description
This is the first of two images. My intent was to get the mountains to look like they're made of red marble. Instead, they look to me like they're red rock with snow. What do you think?

Red rock with snow ;-) To get a marble effect you have to work with texture images which you can lay over the terrain. But therefor you need a good bmp image of 257257 pixel. Thats not easy to find a good image for overlay textures...

great idea, and good effort, i especially like the shadows, clouds are a bit plain but just my preference.....think i will try scanning some marble floor tiles... ;)
