Description

I don't do a lot of sci-fi renders and it's not coz I don't like it. There's still so many scenes from our planet to discover so I haven't really reached space yet :p But last night I made an exception. Still down on Earth though...and not a lot of effects either. But at some point that old airplane will have to move it a bit faster ;) The spaceship is one of the federations ships from Star Treak, with other textures. And the airplane is a freebie from colacola.se. Sky can be bought either here or in my store. Thanks for peeking, and thanks for your comments on my cows yesterday :D We're heading out to try to find some sheep this afternoon again ;) C.

Glad you made an exception and produced this one. That's one huge space craft when compared to the plane. Excellent work and great patience waiting for it to render. Tony :-)

If I was in that air plane I would probably be thinking one of two things or both; "Oh sh*t! Wow!" Great job!

Excellent render, the clouds obscuring the ship are great. If I was the pilot, the throttle would be hard against the firewall as I fled. ;P

If I was the pilot I'd be on the ground running by now! Excellent work

That's original, I like it. I think these kind of ships are not meant to enter a planet's atmosphere but that's artistic license. :-) (As a personal preference, I do wish you could come up with different titles than the render time. At least for me, a good title fires up my imagination, makes me create stories and backgrounds for the scene, whereas a bad title does the opposite, it cools down my enthusiasm, brings my imagination down to earth and makes the image more... normal. But it could be just me.)

Beautiful work! I think your 'UFO' came out great! As for your title... is that how long it took to render? If so, it was worth it. Fantastic pic!

Sweet render, I like the idea of the UFO playing catch up. Cool cloud work, something I cant do in poser that well. Fab scifi work for sure!!

This is great. The 109 pilot would be laying something unpleasant in his pants when he saw THAT coming at him!! Great, Rob

Love this image!Excellent lighting and cloud formations, and the overall composition rocks!I do agree with Rutra's comment regarding titles, but I'm going to look at this one as the time into the pilot's flight when this spaceship appeared instead of the render time...titling works I feel is probably one of the trickiest parts of an image since it's one of the first things that you remember when viewing an image.Great work!!
