Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. I'm enjoying seeing the world thru your post on Renderosity. Mahalo and Aloha....Errol

Such interesting shots, living in Oklahoma USA and not traveling to far away from the nest, I've never seen anything like this in person. But I would hope I'd have more sence, (common sence) or maybe repect for the danger than to move past the designated viewing area. But then the camera does have a strong pull to such things, LOL. Ok, common sence, buy a longer lens your know always looking for an excuse, right, LOL. Stay save and thanks for sharing, excellent work!!!

Excellent, as is the whole series; this one is particularly interesting because of the double lights (sky and lava)

These are fascinating colors reflected off the steam clouds. Too close in my opinion too. They forgot about Pompei?
