Description

Due to time constraints our Europoean tour is on hold. This is a photo from the first directory I opened tonight and is pretty representative of the rocks in my part of the world. The red colour comes from simple old rust. My part of the world is extremely rich in iron ore and much of it is in the rust state. Interestingly Iron is one of the things that made life possible on our planet by reducing the levels of oxygen to the current non toxic ones by trapping much of it as Iron Oxide or rust. So don't turn your nose up at the stuff, no rust, no life !!

Stunning capture of them ole rocks Martin and fascinating facts. I love your compo here. It just looks a tad dangerous - as if the rocks are very loose?? Take care. :)
