Description
-full name:Tyrannosaurus rex (meaning "tyrant lizard king")
-lived in western North America 68 to 65 million years ago,at the end of the Late Cretaceous Period
-lenght around 13 meters
-may have been a predator, preying upon hadrosaurs and ceratopsians, although some experts have suggested it was primarily a scavenger
-over 30 specimens of T. rex have been identified, some are nearly complete skeletons
-lifetime approximately 30 years
-Tyrannosaurus may have been slow to turn, possibly taking one to two seconds to turn only 45°
-walking speed 17 km/h (11 mph) to 40 km/h (25 mph),from walking or slow running to moderate-speed running
