This is a very dear subject to my heart. Abuse of children. I hate it when this happens to innocent children. We adults must look after our precious children. They are precious gifts!!! Abuse can be physical, sexual, emotional, verbal, or a combination of any or all of those. Neglect — when parents or guardians don't take care of the basic needs of the children who depend on them — can also be a form of abuse. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a mark. Very poignant work and so beautifully done. We have just passed a law here where you are not allowed to smack or force a child against its will. It is very contraversal but hopefully it will stop the abuse.

Wow, when you look at the enlargement, it looks like a painting. It's beautifully done with a very thought provoking message. There are many ways to abuse a child, most of them unseen, but the scars and the insecurities last a lifetime.
