My real name is Markus. I live in Germany in a little town between Chemnitz an Plauen - i don't think somebody knows ;-).
Last year I buy me a Nikon D40 and now I be able to take much more pictures as before. The macros I shared are all freehand-shots.

Great shot and interesting pastime. I have just had some Io moths emerge. I found eggs last May and brought them inside. They hatched and I kept them fed for over a month before they started looking for a place to pupate. Some used the leaf litter I had on the bottom and some used the leaves of the food plant as part of their flimsy cocoons. I will post the entire life cycle next week. Congrats on the progress and try to endure the wait. I almost had decided mine were going to overwinter, lol. Thanks for sharing. Lee
