Description

While I was out back trimming some trees and weeding the hosta beds yesterday, Dani came to me with a snake in her hand; she said Casper and Boris were 'playing with it'. :| (They are my cats) The snake only had a minor scratch underneath, so he's fine. But I had to capture a few shots of the two of them together; I suggest she put it by her eye (hindsight is 20/20, I'm not so sure that was a smart thing to suggest lol) but it all worked out. These garter snakes are harmless for the most part. (Thank you Piet for the assistance on this crop!) So, another rescue story from me. Seems I'm constantly rescuing animals, critters & bugs around here. :) Hope you all had a nice start to the new work week! Thanks for stopping by, and for any comment you decide to leave. Shari

Had to smile at Blush's comment, my wife Pauline cannot stand to look at a snake never mind touch one. Similar event at Blackpool on the promanade, chap holding a python urging people to have a phot taken, Pauline did a u turn and crossed over to the other side of the road to get away from it. Lol. Can't even watch them on TV. Superb clarity and detail in this one Shari, I don't think I would have it near my eye though, Dani's a brave girl. Bravo!!!!!

Awesome ... excellent shot!! With the eye in the background and the clear sharp snake curled up into my face .... an excellent shot. Of course, the wrong (phobic) person seeing this will get keyboard freeze and will have to be manually removed from the computer screen!! LoL ... awesome!
