Description

I found an interesting challenge from Bunny (bpclarke) in my email the other day. She presented a couple of fractal images, and said "see what you come up with". Tonight my Gracie Anne seemed more settled, more at ease, so I played for a bit, and here's what I came up with. Sprinkled a few little bits of fractals here and there, resized one several times, to make fireflies. All the post work done in PSP, and added on top of the jpg Bunny sent me. So, imagine it is night, the moon is full and high, you are laying on the grass, watching bits of sky through the treetop canopy, a flash of feathers in the moonlight and it's gone. What was it? An owl? a blue jay disturbed by some night hunter? Ah, but it's a beautiful warm night, and all is still again. Fireflies are flitting up high through the trees. You can hear the crickets chirping, a little rustling in the branches, there's nothing like night time at the Hollow. Thank you all for the kind and wonderful and fun words you all left on the previous post. And thank you for those who favorited it. I have to apologize for being so far behind again with viewing and commenting. We've been having some small crisis with Gracie Anne, the oldest and dearest of my 3 grrrs. Sigh. Even our old dogs don't get to have "golden years" as their road begins to wind down, ever closer to "home".

wild image I could spend some time looking at this, and I seen something right off the bat that would not be appropriate to say... Crazy images the mind sees - especially when tired... One more comment to write and I'm asleep - lol I liked this image alot I see what you said the image is - I like what you seen and I see it.

A lovely moody fractal. I really liked the introduction, too. Well written! I love the lighting and the feathers are just right. I have an older dog myself who has had a rough go of it this year, but she came out of it for the most part. I hope all goes well with yours.

I think they are blue jays since that is what I have three of in my yard right now. And I find fireflies magical. Haven't seen one since I left Kansas so thanks for such a beautiful reminder. And it has such a beautiful deep forest feel, if this is what the Hollow is like know wonder you spend so much time there:) Hope your little grrr is doing better tonight. I will keep her in my thoughts Rita.

This is what I call "The land of plenty". Eat as much tasty moon as you want, drink from the delicious source of amusement untill you can see the mighty atlantic ghost catshark and also your personal ancestral estate quality management representative (AEQMR). I sure wish I could be amongst you, but - as usual - I must be inside the Cheops chamber tonight. Pick up some fresh Orgon in Cairo in order to give away merry samples to all of my good friends in America. One important question remains though: Is this real or am I fooled by the tales of Thousand and One Nights? Do you care for another pice of fine honey cake... Honey? Image Hosted by ImageShack.us PS. Should we not all be in the Age of Aquarius already?

You have created a profoundly mysterious fractal design. There are many levels of symbols and imagery here- all seem linked to ancient Lunar myths. Rita, you have produced a truly unique composition. Bravo!!!!!!
