Lovely dog, lovely shot, and a very familiar attitude! My dog does the same thing, only she lies on top of me, and glares at my husband :)

My little Gilda is the same way. She claims my lap no matter where I might be or what I am doing. It is always her right to lay in my lap. I think doxies are like that. LOL She is also a "talker" and will make talking noises if you stare at her.
