Description

The only true living wild horse, saved by captive breeding from the last 12 in the world. Origin Mongolia.gave me a fright when this one later stuck its head in the car window when I was looking the other way !!

Their heads are so big and boney. My girlfriend sent me some shots years ago of some donkeys sticking their head in her daughter's car window. Don't want to lose these if we can figure out how to keep them with so narrow of a genetic stock.

I am curious about the definition of true wild horse. There are wild mustangs in the US West still today as well as the horses down on the islands off the coast of Georgia. There are a few other areas that have wild horses as well. Very nice shot - he has a very short mane that I find interesting.
