Description

Baby, it's hot outside! The best place to go for holidaymakers who love culture and Medieval buildings and the movie Bruges is... Bruges! 70 miles from Brussels Airport by train (much less by car - at least, it seems so), "the Venice of the North". A sleepy provincial town, rather like it used to be 800 years ago (but modernized; Elvis came here - in his dreams. Nah! In the movie Double Trouble). There's a perfect bus service, but we walked. Apart from the historical buildings you can visit small museums (like the Beer Museum - Lovely!), and don't forget to see the Pond of Love.
