My name is Dottie. I am now among the millions of retirees across our great land. I am still a part of female population of the home workforce. My gainful employment ended with my retirement after 28 years with a national non-profit organization. My interest in photography began in earnest with the arrival of my three grandsons. As they were becoming teenagers my interest turned to travel and flowers. I think what success I have can be attributed to luck and my choice of a camera. I appreciate and learn from everyone's comments and I thank you.

This is a nice shot of Mt. Hood. I wish it would have had more snow on it since this was your first glimpse of it, but it is still pretty. I see Mt. Hood every day that we don't have rain so I'm very fortunate.
