morning all :o) this bee was certainly getting some enrichment from this thistle .it covered the whole area of the flower not missing a spot and then moved on to the next one . thanks for looking and take care mick

I wouldn't mind a picture of just the thistle Mick, it looks like quite a nice specimen, not getting about like I used to I don't see many of these. The ones I do see are poor specimens at that. Excellent capture of the busy bee, again I have not seen many of these this year either, I had a nest of them underneath my shed a couple of years back, no harm caused by them or me but I wasn't into photography as much back then, so I don't have a record of them. This chap looks like a biggish one and will have a big load to take back to his queen. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

Great macro Mick! I love the little pollen particles on her! My neighbor just whacked his thistles down, before I could get a pic of course! Beautiful colors!!!
