Description

Today I'll upload yet another flower. I have a few wooden box planters filled with these little blossoms. The name of these escapes me. Sorry. Today, Matt leaves for college ... Dani's boyfriend. I'll miss that kid like crazy .. but I know he will be okay and will even enjoy himself. Still, can't help but shed a tear ... even the flowers have tears; he tended to them sometimes for me while I was away. Postworked in Photoshop CSII and Painter. Hope ya like ... Lilac/purple is such a "serious" color when it comes to emotions and then you have this tear included. I can only imagine it being a bit sad... Excellent color and mood. Good luck to Dani! (and you) Hugs. I am glad it's not YOU leaving...

First...I love your image. Then...I remember those goodbyes when the children started their indepenant lives. I remember the boys my daughter dated, often for so long as a year, how I missed them when the reation ended. You get close to those youngsters. I well understand your tear and you chose a photo so well showing that. All is well, be sure!!
