Description

Good evening to you all! Once more Riehmers Backyards - today the backdoor! We marched into Riehmers Garden through the front door, watched by these two giants above, this was the begin of this series - and just now we have left the block at the next street, the Hagelberger Street which is shown here. The backdoor - or the second entrance to Riehmers garden - is situated between these two towers with the domes above you can see in the middle of the pic. And this is the place, where in 1871 Riehmer tried to build two "corner houses" as the first houses of his whole complex, and some stupid bureaucracy desk jockeys canceled this... I praise the Lord that Riehmer didn`t gave up at this point but engaged a lawyer..... In the right of this "corner houses" is recently a fine restaurant and a little beer garden. Sheer pleasure to sit there at a hot summers evening as today! Thanks for your interest and your comments, they are always welcome. And now: Weekend is starting! Enjoy and have a good time!
