Description

A greeting card design I did about 18 months back for a company here in the UK. It's always puzzled me. In recent years fishing poles have become popular. Huge unwieldy 20 ft lengths of carbon fibre and plastic and stuff. They look like bits of scaffolding. When I was a kid, we used to go fishing by the canal with a much more sensible 6ft bamboo rod. Who knows the workings of the fisherman's mind? Not me. I gave up fishing at an early age. Scared of maggots, see. Thanks for looking Cheers Rich http://web.me.com/richskipworth/Monks_Emporium_/Christmas_cards_2008.html

I don't know. Why do people want big dogs and cars? I especially like the smart fish....

It doesn't matter how long your rod, pole or perch is... The fish will always be on the other side. :)
