Description

I photographed this view of the mountains in Colorado on a tour with a professional photographer as a guide, my husband, (camera),and two other people. The sun shining through the clouds, focused on the colors. We had to head down the mountain shortly after these pictures to avoid the storm. Lightening high on the mountain is not healthy.

Hmm, I'm trying to place this spot. San Juans? Near?... It's familiar, but I'm having some trouble. :) I've been caught in the MIDDLE of lightning storms at 14,000 feet. I don't blame you for a hasty retreat.
