Description
And a quiet whisper I heard. Its voice was melodic and sweet. It told me of the beauty that is Me and of the wonders I have yet to achieve. I knew it was near but it was not to be seen. Where is this enchanter who so boldly tells me of the secrets in my heart? I listened longer and soon I heard words which were not as comforting as those that had come before. Why has this tone changed? Where is the music that once played so lovingly? I fled from the words and yet they continued to follow. "Stop" I heard myself say and at once the music returned to my heart. Oh wondrous melody and words ever so sweet... where doth thou come from and why doth thou hide thine face from me? Searched as I might, the sayer of these words was not to be found. I passed by the mirror on the way back to my room and happened by chance to look at the reflection which spoke to me through this vision that appeared seemingly familiar. All at once I came to realize that the speaker of the words that sang to my heart was me. Thusly I came to realize that I had not listened to that voice within me which was there to guide me and to speak the glories of my name and myself. I had ignored it and yet it had continued to stand by me and speak to me. Had I listened to it more intently, I would have noticed that the words had over time changed and were not as sweet as they once had been. I listen to that inner voice now with full focus on its content. And when I hear words that do not support that inner truth of my Being, I remember the one phrase that has held me steadfast throughout time. "That's not the truth of who I am." So... have you listened to your self-talk lately? Are you hearing things that do not support that truth of your beingness? Try this little exercise. The next time you hear words rattling around in your mind that are not positive and supportive, just say to yourself... 'Cancel, cancel... that's not the truth of who I am. I am beautiful and capable. There is nothing I need to change. There is nothing I need to rearrange. I'm the best me that I can be." You will be amazed at what happens next when you practice listening. How divine. How simply divine.
Our thought for the day is: 'Appearances and perceptions change. How I perceive myself today depends upon my mood. I choose to be in a good mood and see all things bright and beautiful about myself.' Gayle O

Again those uplifting colors and beautiful flame! The voice I know, or better, he voices. The loving whisper is the true voice, the other, blaming one is self talk and we sure indulge in that. The thing is to hear nd recognise and onlylisten to the true voice.
