Description

Just spent the weekend watching films like "Rocketship XM", "X-The Unknown", "Destination Moon" and "Quatermass 2"... Hi Iain, Really like what you have done with this cover - especialy the ladder gives it a wonderful 50's feel. I have not always commented but do look and have appreciated what you are doing.

"Tankschlapper"????? Love that name and the images it calls up, another Peenemunde transplant with an even more flamboyant personality that von Braun. Often I wonder if NASA's tockets were not the terribly practical self-destructing totem poles but rather were the single stage elegant silver finned creations like this, would the public be more enchanted by our spacecraft?

I would imagine the poor old astronauts would have been knackered after climbing all the stairs.Another excellent issue, I was facinated by the Monatomic fuel article.Great stuff Iain.
