"To call a painting 'finished' is to rob it of any life it may yet hold. A painting is never finished. It only stops in interesting places." ~Pablo Picasso~Â
I've always thought that the artist (as a person) has very little to do with the art itself. After he/she makes it, it now belongs to the rest of the world anyway. Who cares who I am?
However, for those who would like to know; I'm not a professional artist. I've never even taken any art classes aside from high school and my Dad's criticisms.Â
I grew up (and currently live) in a very small town in Southern Illinois, U.S.A. I'm 34 years old and live with my girlfriend, Amber, and our thee kids (John 11, Derek 7, and Isabella 1).
I work as a pressman at Simple Solutions in West Frankfort, Illinois. I'm a second generation pressman (my father was a pressman [and an artist as well]).
  That's about it..
When I'm not working, I'm usually drawing or playing music (I play the guitar) or watching movies. Very few of my drawings are ever seen by anyone outside of family or friends. It's nice to have a place like Renderosity where I can show work I've done and get some honest feedback from like-minded people.
Thank you everyone for the comments and ratings. It's important to me, like it's important to all of you.
  God Bless...
